Here’s the process to use if you have a new Husqvarna yard tractor and you need to set it up. Here are the 10 steps I’ll take you through (at 12:15, I push the freewheel control in while the engine is running, this is a mistake. The engine should be off before engaging the freewheel control) :

#2 Check Tire Pressure
#3 Level the Mowing Deck
#4 Check Height of Anti-Scalp Wheels
#5 Check Deck Belt Routing
#6 Lubricate your Tractor
#7 Check Engine Oil
#8 Check Battery Connections
#9 Purge the Transmission (at 12:15, I push the freewheel control in while the engine is running, this is a mistake. The engine should be off before engaging the freewheel control)
#10 Check the Brake
