I picked up an 18 foot inflatable movie screen last summer to go with my older projector. Turns out going from 100 in to 18 feet is a lot for the low powered unit I was using.
Well, the folks at Emotn hooked me up with a new H1 Projector that is rated for screens up to 18 feet, and wow! It’s a HUGE change in picture quality. Jenn and I love having summer movie nights and this thing covers all our bases. A/V input, HDMI, USB, and wi/fi. It even streams YouTube!

Hey guys it's Eric here at Far Point Farms check it out dude these things are Awesome what you see here is just a Black box but what it really is is that Edmonton H1 projector if you've been Following my Channel about a year ago I Bought a projector And and it's awesome but it didn't have A lot of looms it didn't have enough Light so when we got a big screen a Yamakuzi screen there's about 18 and a Half foot across it's still a really Really cool experience but we were Looking for something a little brighter To give it more of that movie-esque Uh picture quality you know Well these folks at Edmonton reached out To me and thanks for them doing that and They have this Edmonton H1 it is about Twice as bright the other one was 150 This one is uh no the other one was 125 And this is 250 so it's a big enough Difference it's rated up to 18 and a Half screens that's what I've got so Really cool let me go ahead and unbox This thing I'll bring the camera in Closer here we'll go through all the Bits and pieces and uh you know Obviously a little cold to be setting up The movie theater Outside but I'll put it on the on the Wall here and let you see just what you Can look forward to because these things It's incredible technologically speaking

What these things are capable of doing It's just blew me away the first time I Got my hands on something like this and Of course this product He acts it seems Superior comparatively Which I mean that makes sense everything Is always getting better every time you Know how that works out Okay Here we go All right So we have a remote here Want to get some batteries for it I'm Not sure if it comes with batteries but I've got batteries I can put in there Volume up and down home like the usual And again I'll get closer in on this Here as I get this unpacked Main unit is a big boy here it is I love The way it almost reminds me of like a Cassette deck from the old days doesn't It it's just kind of got a nice leather Handle here and we have speakers that Come out the sides to give it a better Sound the other one you kind of had to Add speakers to it it just wasn't bright Enough or loud enough I should say Without adding speakers but this is cool Up on top Is that not Sounds just like an old cassette deck we Got our on off and power on and off in Volume here We got our Focus wheel here

And we have play stop pause all the rest The back is where it really counts and Let me get the camera in closer I'll Show you that but before I do that let's Go ahead and unbox the rest of it it Comes with a lot of goodies All right so here we are up close the Edmonton Edmond and Mountain whatever You can see it's got a protective screen Over the lens right now so I'll leave That intact for just a few you can screw It into a tripod which I figured out Online uh really helped with getting the Height just right for the screen but it Does have a little tip up So if I want to sit it down like I'll Show you if the sit flat like that well You can put the little tip up and now It's got a slight rake maybe a one or Two degree upward bubble on the back This thing has a little bit almost Overkill for how much cool stuff's got Going on be straight up pipe it into Land so if you want to do an earth and That attachment you can digital audio Out that's a huge uh if you really want To go all in on your speaker system and In your surround digital audio is the Best now a USB C in and it does come with a really Hefty power pack here no custom Packaging needed for that but a USBC Port that's going to be our plugging in And of course we have HDMI in so you can

Hook a Blu-ray player to it Or satellite receiver whatever you want To play you want to watch a football Game or something like that you could Plug it directly into your receiver USB Most of the time we're out watching Movies I'm plugging in digital copies of Those movies and playing them like that AVN this is something the other the Other one we used didn't have I wanted To watch a DVD out there and hook a DVD Player but DVD players don't have HDMI Well this has AV so you could hook up Vintage video games or older VCR DVD Players and be able to play it off of That and then we have an earphone jack In or speaker out and this one also Includes a Micro SD card so yet another Way to uh you know get your movies on The big screen The model H1 Bluetooth speaker H1 Speaker And there's the rest of that stuff Manufacturer super creativity Limited I like it Okay well what I'm going to do is set This thing up we'll plug a USB into it And I'll show you on the garage door I Mean it's not going to be a nice smooth Like movie screen experience but at Least you'll get an idea of what you can Expect with one of these things it's Christmas it's almost Christmas I hope To put this out before Christmas dude

You know Pretty much everybody's got everything Well this is a way to have a drive-in Movie theater uh in your in your outdoor Yard every summer we did this every Weekend we were using this uh that Screen that we got and so with this Thing being much brighter and better Speakers man I can't wait Okay give me a second All right I hope you guys are able to See this and again it's on the garage Door so there's going to be some Some issues you can see right there is Where my hinges are but We'll close this out we'll quit this Speaker we don't want Bluetooth mode I Want to get out of there And we're going to be in English And I've got uh some pictures I'll show You and one of the old farpoint videos I'll play on here for fear of copyright Infringement I don't want to uh I don't want to you know have issues So you can hook it up to the network if You want to do that in this case I don't Care about networking And I'm going to accept that and I'll Accept the privacy Yeah I can't wait to play with this Thing these are so awesome it's just Crazy it does have a little onboard fan To keep things cool of course on a day Like today oh would you look at that wow

Okay this is way way more fancy than Um This is just way more fancy than what The other unit I had was it looks like It has some onboard apps you can go Straight into YouTube If you were hooked Up Is just incredible then you have Keystone correction that's where if your Screen isn't completely flat or for Whatever reason it just it kind of looks Like it's it's bowed in or bowed out That's what Keystone and then it has an Automated feature so that's really cool I'm more interested in getting in and Playing with um The the actual features here so let me See if I can get into that I don't I Can't see the remote very well there we Go so we're gonna go with media Internal storage We'll go to blank and we have uh we'll Go to the pictures first Wow okay That's really really rich colors Compared to the other one And I assume you could probably just jog Forward I'm gonna have to turn my Flashlight on there we go yeah Yeah there's the old craftsman I'll see If I can fine tune the uh Focus on it it's pretty darn clear but I Bet it gets even clearer Yeah that's about perfect wow I don't

Know how well that's showing up you know A video of a video never really comes Out well But um And you can zoom in It won't be very long and it'll be that Time of It'll be that time of year again so That's kind of a I'm not looking forward To that let's just put it that way All right we'll zoom in That's really cool Okay let's back out of that There's your volume control there In this case I want to leave it uh We'll go to a movie so let's see if it Plays MP4s this is from Far Point Restorations And I'll turn the volume up [Music] I know that guy This happens to be a Mitsubishi Outlet So there you go I mean I don't know what Else you want me to show off on it it's A it's a really cool unit and I'll kind Of zoom over you can see the USB Blinking on the back of it but that's About all you can see the Shop's a mess Right now but that's the Edmonton H1 Um I mean just just putting this on a Wall in your house you know you could Have this has got to be where I'm Looking at right now I'd say that's Well it's got to be 100 inch screen
