Hey guys it's Eric here at farpoint Farms and tonight we'll be setting up This this is the Johnny plow Jr now this Goes with the Johnny bucket Jr you can Buy this as a standalone or you can get It as an add-on to the Johnny bucket Jr I've got the Johnny bucket Jr so the Stuff that I'm going to be assembling Tonight is to hook it to the existing Bracket for my tractor that's really the Only difference the front parts are the Same but the bracket that fits your Tractor came with either the Johnny Bucket or this device so you don't need To buy that twice So let's take a look at what we got this Is the main piece it's already out of The box because it the box was pretty Well destroyed in transit but luckily Nothing went wrong with the actual unit We have our two skid plates here and There are a lot of washers it might be Hard to see but I'll show you when we Get closer in those washers are to Adjust our depth for our skids so that We don't dig in I have a gravel driveway We don't want to dig in and be pushing Gravel we just want to push the snow so That allows us to change and lower the Height there so that we don't do that Overall construction it looks like Powder coated steel it is made in the USA which is really cool And there we go if we move on to this

Stuff over here I opted for the powered angle plow angle Right so the up and down portion is Going to use your Johnny bucket Junior Actuator they up down but to angle it Left or right you can go with manual Adjust or power adjust I decided to go With the power adjust and that's going To mean that I have this Which is another hydraulic or sorry Electric scissor and on a scissor jack What type is this I'm having a brain Moment here it's an electric Actuator there we go And so here it is for that I'll just lay That alongside here that came in its own Box and then the main unit the main Assembly parts are in here really uh Well packaged Big old box full of goodies Yeah wow okay so it doesn't look like There's a ton of setup here just based Off of this but it is a pretty heavy Piece right here Foreign Cool so let me get a knife I'll cut the Saran Wrap or whatever you want to call This off of this we'll take a look at The manual and we'll get this assembled In my next video I will install this on My Husqvarna garden tractor and we'll Plow some snow because it won't be long And it'll be time to plow some snow here At the farm let's do it all right here

We are all unpacked and ready to Assemble one bracket two bracket only uh Two bolts Two Nuts two large washers two Spacers And then we have two eye hooks And those are going to have two little Half inch nuts the other one's a Three-quarter those are half inch that's To adjust these Springs and the Springs Are for the tip over Force right you can Adjust those if you want to tip over if It hits some a rock in the driveway or Something large that you don't want to Damage the plow or the tractor that tips Allows it to float up on top of the snow So there you go we've got that going on And of course one little wiring harness Adapter just to stretch it out enough to Get back you're going to use the up down Function that already exists on your Johnny bucket Junior and we're going to Be adding that to the left and right Tilt looks like from in the directions If you opt not to get that electric dump You just take the uh pivot actuator off Of your Johnny bucket and transfer it Over here in the winter time transfer it Back over to the bucket so save some Money if you need to and skip that part Like I said I opted to get it but there You go so let's go ahead I'm going to Lower the camera angle down a little bit We'll get this thing installed and the Next time you see it it'll be in action

In the snow let's do it so it looks like The first thing we're going to do is Remove this pin right here And we'll get that out of there if I can These pins are pretty unique they're Really cool they're definitely not made To be popping on and off too easily Because they want this to stay tight There we go I'm gonna slide this out And we're going to be attaching this Piece Looks like this With our edges here towards the front And it fits Foreign To the inside of this if I can get it in There there we go And you might have to tap it in a little Bit get it lined up There we go You can see what I'm doing here sliding That pin across And that's that's giving us our pivot Point for our up down And we can reinstall our pin well it Looks like the next thing we're going to Be doing is attaching the main part here To the snow plow itself And that's where we're going to be using These we got two big bolts We got two big spacers that we'll be Using And those spacers are going to fit here Let me tilt this up so you can see so

The spacers go through And then you're going to place a large Washer On the other side before putting your Nut into there so they're going to fit In there like that All right let me move the plow up a Little bit we'll get that installed all Right so you can see here are our small Bolts we're going to flip the assembly Over Like so and slide it into place here And let me move the camera to this side So you see how it looks on the other end I don't know how well this is going to Show up on camera because unfortunately It's it's really kind of tight in here But You're taking your bolts through the Outside you don't need any washers on The outside And you place them through the holes Then our spacers that I was just showing You they're going to slide in This one almost feels like it's Threading in but it's smooth it's just Easier to rotate it to get it in there And that has to line up so I'm going to Kind of Wiggle with my other hand here And get it to where it will fit there it Is it has fit okay I'm gonna do the same On this side once you have your spacer In there you're going to take your big Fat washer you can put it right here and

Then you're going to use your regular Nut here this is all three quarter and Get that started as well Foreign 's ready to tighten down I'll do The same on this side and we'll move on Once you have both sides started And you just take a three-quarter And your ratchet and you tied it down And you're going to adjust the amount of Washers you have in my case Quite a few I'm going to go to the back side I'm Looking at that actually I might even need one more Yeah so we're putting it pretty much at Almost its lowest position and that's Okay Now you do want the tab facing back so It kind of Kicks up but it's going to take a little Bit that's for you to grab onto while we Tighten that down Do the same on the other side and we're Ready to flip this thing back up and Finish installation here it is all in There let's go ahead tilt the unit back Up See it like that Now we can attach our Springs they go Between these two points right here All right but you want to put your Spacer here so you can make adjustments I think we're going to do so like that We'll just get those started for right

Now Then we hook Our Big Springs in here Now hopefully I might have to actually Get the spring in here first There we go yeah these things are pretty Stout You might be able to pull them down I'm Not going to fight with them Same with the other side Foreign [Music] Something that's a little bit of trial And error for right now all I'm going to Do is take the tension off I want to Make sure they don't flop around so I'm Going to give it just the lightest bit Of tension but I may end up making it Much tighter as time goes on it just Really depends on Whether or not it pushes over too easily Nice like I said we can make more Adjustments to those if we need to at a Later time Well we are ready to install our Actuator part of it's going to go here And part of it's going to go here we're Really moving along on that Unfortunately it looks like I wasn't Recording but the next step here is to Remove these two pins one here and one Here and install our actuator if it's Not lined up if you want to turn this Bar or don't want to turn it you can

Simply unscrew this part take a flat Blade screwdriver or a Phillips and Unscrew it until it reaches where you Want it to and that's pretty much it now We will be moving this harness and Plugging it into the tractor there is a Little wiring harness adapter that goes With it and of course you'll want to Probably zip tie it wherever the Location is to keep it out of the way But we're not going to do that until we Actually get it on the tractor so let me Move the camera back and we'll wrap this Up for tonight all right well that is it My friends it is assembled I would say On a scale of one to ten that was an Easy one to get that all put together I'm really happy with that too Now Um we won't know where to put our wiring Harness and exactly where to strap it Until I get it installed on the tractor For right now I need the Johnny bucket Junior right now to do stuff around the Farm still but when the first snowfall Comes well it'll be time to set this up And make sure that it is ready to go Again it does come with this which is a Little extension harness to make sure That our side to side movement is still Working the way we want it to I guess That'll do it for tonight my friends Thank you to Johnny products for sending This my way to check out to put together

And of course to demonstrate for you I Hope you'll visit their site and if you Like what you see I hope maybe you'll Give them a purchase or two made in America and that ain't too easy to find These days my friends take care
